Applying the SAMR model to my class

When applying the SAMR model to a class of mine in the future I could have my students make a report in a digital video program instead of writing a report or essay on it. This would be compatible with the Redefinition part of the SAMR Model. The students of class or sets of classes could put together the stories and make an educational video that could be shown to other student in the same school or other schools. You could even end up creating a competition event in a school district or across school districts in the country to encourage learning among students.  By having students work through internet teleconferencing you would be replacing the need to have them travel between schools. Teleconferencing can be compatible with the Substitution part of the SAME model as well as Augmentation when internet teleconferencing can be combines with augmented reality technology, in which the students as well as the instructors not at the same physical location can share a common virtual learning environment populated by virtual objects and learning materials and interact with another within that setting. AR videoconf. system is an example of teleconferencing augmented reality that could be used with students in two different locations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2zKIfnF6zQ. Zugstar is another example of this technology: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSFiCHkZgkA.
